The long overdue London premiere of the Broadway musical The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd, directed by acclaimed West End and RSC director Ian Judge, and designed by three time Olivier Award winner Tim Goodchild.
With a score packed with standards including A Wonderful Day Like Today, The Joker, Who Can I Turn To? and Feeling Good (a hit for Michael Bublé), The Roar of The Greasepaint, The Smell of The Crowd presents the follies of the irrepressible Cocky and the imperious Sir as they play the comical Game of Life in this timely allegorical satire on the British class system.
Leslie Bricusse has been nominated for ten Academy Awards, nine Grammys and four Tonys, and has won two Oscars, a Grammy and eight Ivor Novello Awards. His musicals with Anthony Newley include Stop The World - I Want To Get Off , Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the title song from Goldfinger.

'Dream Tower Inn'

The Rolling Stone's bassist Bill Wyman, along with Bréon George Rydell, were guests on BBC Radio Scotland's MacAulay and Co. In the interview, Bréon talks to Fred MacAulay and co presenter Julia Sutherland about the background to his life, and his first work for music theatre 'DreamTower Inn'. Dream Tower Productions are pleased to announce that 'The Laddie Song', from the musical Dream Tower Inn, is now available on iTunes. This fun song, tells the story of Breck McKinley's return home to his native fishing village, where he is greeted by his father and friends.

Host of the popular afternoon radio show, Steve Wright, met with Bréon Rydell and Gianni Scumaci. The discussion focused on the inspiration that led to the creation of Dream Tower Inn. MacMusical documentary on BBC2
Dream Tower Inn has been included in MacMusical, a three part documentary produced by Endomol for the BBC. This programme covers a prestigious competition for a new musical with a Scottish theme, in which Dream Tower Inn reaches the final 10 plays out of a 150 entrants from all over the world. The television programme includes a live interview with Bréon and his musical collaborator Matteo Scumaci, which takes place in New York. Also included, is an excerpt from one of the songs in Dream Tower Inn called 'Sea of Souls'. This song has attracted particular attention because of it's emotive theme, that highlights the tragic loss of large numbers of fisherman off the East coast of Scotland on Oct 14th 1881.
